Customer Data Protection Notice
This notice is addressed to our customers, customer employees and representatives, and prospective customers whose personal data we process.
As Serhat Saat A.Ş. (hereinafter the “Company”), we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data and your related rights under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (hereinafter “KVKK”).
This English text is a courtesy translation provided for information. The Turkish version is the binding text; in the event of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
1. Data controller
The Company operates through the website www.serhatsaat.com and from its address at 15 Temmuz Mah. Gülbahar Cad. Nuryıldız Plaza No:7 Kat:6/41 Güneşli Bağcılar – İstanbul, Türkiye. It processes your personal data — consisting of financial, physical premises security, communication, transaction security, identity, professional experience and customer transaction data — as data controller within the scope of the KVKK.
2. Purposes of processing
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of carrying out finance and accounting operations, ensuring the security of physical premises, carrying out communication activities, carrying out logistics activities, carrying out the sale of goods and services, and providing information to authorised persons, institutions and organisations.
3. Recipients of personal data and purposes of transfer
Your personal data may be shared with: authorised public institutions and organisations, for the fulfilment of legal obligations; our supplier consisting of our accounting office, for the purposes of the purchase/sale process for goods and services, communication, and finance and accounting operations; the supplier company from which we receive services for our website, for the purpose of carrying out the sale of goods and services; and the contracted courier supplier, for the purpose of delivering products in online sales.
4. Method of collection and legal basis
Your personal data is obtained verbally, in writing or electronically, by automated or non-automated means, on the legal bases set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK — namely the fulfilment of legal obligations, express provision in law, and the conclusion of a contract. In this context, data is processed by non-automated means such as telephone calls, face-to-face contact, the signing of contracts and the issuing of invoices; and by automated means through the camera recording system located in shared and working areas, e-mail correspondence and our website.
5. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
You may submit requests relating to your rights set out under the heading “Rights of the data subject” in Article 11 of the KVKK by completing all the information indicated in the Application Form and, in accordance with Article 11 and Article 13(1) of the KVKK and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, through the following channels:
- By coming in person to our company headquarters at 15 Temmuz Mah. Gülbahar Cad. Nuryıldız Plaza No:7 Kat:6/41 Güneşli Bağcılar – İstanbul, Türkiye;
- By sending a written application to our headquarters address through a notary public or by registered mail with return receipt, so that we can verify your identity and avoid disclosing information to the wrong person;
- By sending an e-mail to info@serhatsaat.com using the e-mail address notified to our Company and registered in our systems, or by other methods that the Personal Data Protection Board may determine in future.
The requests in your application will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller may be charged.
