These ranges are a starting point, not a strict rule. The exact case size of every model is given in the specification table on its product page; please confirm it there before ordering.
How to Measure Your Wrist
- 1Wrap a tape measure or a narrow strip of paper around the narrowest part of your wrist, just above the wrist bone.
- 2Keep the strip neither tight nor loose; leave enough room for a finger to slide in comfortably, then mark where the ends meet.
- 3Open the strip and measure it with a ruler. The figure in centimetres shows the case range that suits you in the table above.
Wrist circumference changes a little through the day; a measurement taken in the late afternoon gives the truest result. Steel bracelets are adjusted by removing links and leather straps by the buckle hole; the case diameter is independent of wrist circumference. When you are torn between two sizes, the smaller one always looks more refined.
How case shape changes the look
- Round case: The diameter is measured across the widest point of the case; it is the most predictable shape.
- Square and rectangular cases: At the same millimetre they look larger than a round case. Consider going one size down.
- Oval and tonneau: They run along the wrist, so they sit comfortably on slim wrists too.
The strap
Links on steel bracelets can be removed or added at an authorised service centre; please do not attempt it yourself, as unauthorised work voids the warranty. Leather straps are adjusted at the buckle holes; for very slim wrists choose a short strap.
Case thickness affects comfort as well: slim cases slide easily under a cuff, thicker cases make more of a statement.
Seeing how it sits before you order
Draw the case diameter of the model you like on paper with a ruler, cut it out and hold it against your wrist. It is the quickest way to understand how much room a watch that looks large on screen actually takes up.
